I read this book a long time ago and think of it often, Its very funny. Basic idea is the rich get to "save time" in a time bank. When they save up 24 hours they get an extra day of the week; Pluterday.
Main protagonist is poor, meets rich girl who says lets meet next Pluterday. He of course misses the date, but then finds out about Pluterday, meets his Muse (literally) who give him a time machine. He goes back in time and writes the Bible, comes back and collects royalties. Of course now has enough money to get access to Pluterday. Ongoing pseudo socialist hilarity. Or at least that's how I remember it.

ReplyDeleteGreat isn't it?
ReplyDeleteThinking that perhaps this post might become part of a series
